GETTING A WORK AND RESIDENCE PERMIT IN DUBAI

The Residence Visa (also referred to as the employment visa) allows an individual who wants to reside indefinitely in the UAE to enter the country, if you want to work there, then your employer must sponsor this visa for entry and you must employ for a Residence or Employment Permit within the 30 days grace your entry visa grants.

The Employment or Residence Permit allows you to live and work indefinitely in the UAE. It is usually issued for a period of three years and renewable for additional three year terms. Medical requirements must be met before this is issued.

Women, children and dependent parents can be included on a Residence Permit under the sponsorship of their husbands/fathers/sons. But the sponsoring individual must meet minimum income requirements based on the number of dependents.
