GETTING A VISA FOR DUBAI
To obtain a visa for the United Arab Emirates you will need to provide the following documentation: your passport, 2 photographs, driving licence, educational certificates, certificates of membership to professional organizations, marriage certificate (legalized and authenticated) , birth certificates for children, a letter you're your employer plus a photocopy, a duplicate of your application form and a letter or a fax from your sponsor in the UAE (hotel, company, travel agent, etc) to the embassy concerned.
Visitor's visas are required for most countries but relatively easy to get and to renew. Citizens from Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Saudi Arabia do not need a visa to visit the city of Dubai. If you are staying in a hotel during your visit then you only need to give your hotel or travel agent a copy of your passport and they will do the rest. A copy of your visa will be sent to you and the original will be held at the airport.
UK citizens can visit Dubai without having to apply for a visa in advance. It can be obtained after arrival at the Immigration department. UK visitors are entitled to stay in Dubai for 60 days, and a renewal for a period of 30 days is possible with a cost of 500 Dh (approximately 110€).
